Scott Ivie is a Senior Loan officer with Straight Deal Mortgage and has been licensed since 1997. He has lived in the Bay Area up until 2017 where he moved to Austin to start a new branch. His business philosophy is quite simple, “…treat others the way you want to be treated…” It is a simple philosophy but has proven to be a successful choice in his career path and dealing with his clients.
Scott graduated in 1995 with a BS in Finance from California State University, East Bay. After graduation he worked at Foothill Junior College as the defensive line coach, where he helped lead them to two back to back championships. In 1996 he began his career at Western Interstate Mortgage and within 3 months became their top producer. In 1998 he continued his career with CMG mortgage and then with California Financial Group. In 2000 he was named loan officer of the year while working with CFG. In 2001 and 2002 he was honored into the Millionaires Group when he funded over $100 million in loans. Scott joined C2 Financial in 2011 and has continued to outperform and now with Straight Deal Mortgage in 2023. Scott Ivie currently resides in Austin with his wife, Michelle, and two children, Matthew 21 and Brooklynn 19. In addition, Scott is a former professional football player and NASCAR river.
